Wij krijgen regelmatig nog vragen van studenten die willen starten met een cursus of opleiding. We vonden het daarom een goed idee om alle veelgestelde vragen even op een rijtje te zetten.
Zijn jullie open? Kan ik jullie bellen?
Ja wij zijn gewoon geopend. Je kan ons het beste bereiken maandag t/m vrijdag van 9.00 tot 17.00 uur.
Gaan de lessen momenteel door?
Ja, wij verzorgen onze lessen momenteel online. Zodra het mag zullen wij de fysieke lessen op school weer hervatten.
Kan ik ondanks de corona crisis starten met een opleiding?
Ja, voor sommige opleidingen is het mogelijk om nu te starten en in te stromen tijdens de online lessen. Wil je hier meer over weten kan je ons het beste even bellen.
Wat is de deadline om in te schrijven?
Er is geen deadline om in te schrijven. Bij de Horeca Academie zijn er meerdere momenten in het jaar waarop je je kunt inschrijven. Wel adviseren wij jou om dit tijdig te doen zodat je verzekerd bent van een plek op de opleiding.
Kan ik wel een leerbedrijf vinden door de coronacrisis?
Momenteel zijn veel horecazaken gesloten en bezig met andere dingen. Het kan zijn dat leerbedrijven niet reageren op sollicitaties. Wij verwachten dat wanneer de horecazaken weer open mogen leerbedrijven ook weer opzoek gaan naar leerlingen. De bedrijven hebben dan immers ook weer medewerkers nodig om het werk te verrichten. De Horeca Academie heeft contact met veel bedrijven. Je kan ons dus ook altijd even bellen voor tips voor leerbedrijven.
Krijg ik mijn geld terug als de opleiding niet doorgaat?
Je betaalt pas wanneer de opleiding gaat starten. Mocht je vragen hebben over de betaling kan je ons het beste even bellen. Zie ook onze algemene voorwaarden.
Ik heb nog geen leerbedrijf. Kan ik mij wel alvast aanmelden voor een opleiding?
Jazeker je kan je alvast aanmelden via onze website. Bij de gegevens van het leerbedrijf kan je streepjes neerzetten zodat je het formulier wel digitaal kan versturen.
Ik krijg mijn diploma in juni/juli van dit jaar. Kan ik mij wel alvast aanmelden?
Jazeker je kan je alvast aanmelden via onze website. Je kan een leeg documentje uploaden bijvoorbeeld een word bestandje zodat je het formulier wel digitaal kan versturen. Graag bij het veld opmerkingen aangeven dat je jouw diploma in juni/juli krijgt en dat je de kopie van je diploma op een later moment toestuurt.
Gaat Summerschool cursus professioneel koken door?
Ja wij gaan er vanuit dat de lessen na 28 april weer hervat mogen worden en dat de lessen in de zomer weer doorgaan. Mocht dit niet zo zijn zullen wij jou hier tijdig over informeren en waar mogelijk de Summerschool verplaatsen.
Krijg ik mijn geld terug als de Summerschool niet doorgaat?
Wij gaan er vanuit dat de Summerschool gewoon doorgaat. Wanneer de Horeca Academie vanwege de maatregelen van de regering en de RIVM de Summerschool definitief moeten annuleren krijgen cursisten het cursusgeld terug.

Are classes currently taking place?
Yes, we currently provide our classes online. As soon as we may, we will resume physical lessons at school.
Can I start training despite the Corona crisis?
Yes, for some courses it is possible to start now and to join during the online lessons. If you want to know more about this, it is best to call us.
What is the deadline to register?
There is no deadline to register. At the Horeca Academy there are several times in the year that you can register. We do advise you to do this in time so that you are assured of a place on the course.
Can I find a training company because of the corona crisis?
Currently, many catering businesses are closed and are busy with other things. Training companies may not respond to job applications. We expect that when the catering establishments open again, training companies will also look for students. After all, the companies again need employees to do the work. The Horeca Academy has contact with many companies. So you can always call us for tips for training companies.
Will I get my money back if the training is canceled?
You only pay when the training starts. If you have any questions about payment, it is best to call us. See also our terms and conditions.
I don’t have a training company yet. Can I already register for a course?
Yes, you can already register via our website. You can add dashes to the details of the training company so that you can send the form digitally.
I will receive my diploma in June / July this year. Can I register in advance?
Yes, you can already register via our website. You can upload a blank document, for example a word file so that you can send the form digitally. Please indicate in the comments field that you will receive your diploma in June / July and that you will send the copy of your diploma at a later time.
Does Summer School professional cooking continue?
Yes, we assume that the lessons can be resumed after April 28 and that the lessons will continue in the summer. If this is not the case, we will inform you in time and move the Summer School where possible.
Will I get my money back if the Summer School is canceled?
We assume that the Summer School will continue as normal. When the Horeca Academy has to cancel the Summer School because of the measures of the government and the RIVM, students will receive the course fee back.
